Tripadvisor comments Elephant Plains Lodge

The highlight was the 3 hour safari rides – one each morning at dawn and the other starting late afternoon for sunset. The drivers and trackers were excellent at finding the animals and positioning our vehicles for the best views without seeming to cause any stress to the animals. We saw lions, leopards, elephants, rhino, hyena, hippos and more all up close. We were never nervous while in the vehicle and our guides appeared very responsive to the reactions of the animals.

A nice resort in the thick bush. Even from the room you could see antelopes and elephants passing by. With a friendly staff, excellent service and a great chef. The drives in the bush and the plains were simply unforgettable! The big 5 were seen every day and with so many more animals, it was a unique experience.
